TGS welcomes a new member in Cameroon

History

Abege Chartered Accountants is a firm founded in 2013 by Abege Patrick Agi and was registered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Cameroon (ONECCA).

In 2015 the office was transferred to Bamenda because most of the clients were Credit Unions (Category 1 Microfinance establishments) affiliated to the umbrella body CAMCCUL (Cameroon Cooperative Credit Union League) with Head office in Bamenda.

CAMCCUL still remains the major client of the firm and the firm is rotated from one region to another after a maximum period of 6 years.

Main Activities and locations

The main activity of the firm is audit of microfinance institutions. They have 68 microfinance institutions around Bamenda (North West Region) and one in Yaoundé. The firm also has 3 NGOs and Catholic institutions and, in Douala, a telecom engineering company.

Company Objectives 

Growth

The main objective now is to grow. The company has been growing at a slower rate in recent years, however the aim is to triple this in the next 3 years. Expand to other places such as Yaoundé and Douala. Therefore, the creation of offices and employment opportunities are part of this growth.

Training Seminars are important for the company, sharing experiences and learning from other colleagues enriches the knowledge of our experts.

International brand

Affiliation with an International network like TGS will help the company obtain an international brand. This will improve the image and position in the eyes of current and potential clients.
