Takeaways from the TGS Brussels Conference
The TGS Brussels Conference was a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow TGS members, some familiar faces and some new ones. I always enjoy hearing about the diverse experiences of member firms across different countries.
It was great to learn about the challenges they are facing, the opportunities they are exploring, and how they are adapting to change. Those conversations really reinforced the value of being part of a global network.
Looking Ahead to the Bangkok Conference
I’m really looking forward to a member-led conference where we can explore what’s working — and what isn’t — within our firms. I’m especially interested in the sessions on technology and AI strategy.
Why Conferences Matter for the TGS Community
These conferences are essential for building trust and collaboration across the network. When you meet fellow members face-to-face, it strengthens the relationships behind referrals and joint projects.
That personal connection makes it easier to work together across borders, which ultimately benefits our firms and our clients. It also helps us stay aligned as a community — sharing knowledge and supporting each other’s growth.
A Message to Future Participants
I’d say absolutely go for it! TGS conferences are not only professionally valuable — they are genuinely enjoyable. They are well-organised, with great sessions, dinners, and drinks, and the surprise cultural activities are always a highlight.
It’s a brilliant way to experience the local culture while deepening your connections within the network. You’ll come away inspired, informed, and with a few new friends too.
Thank you, Katie, for sharing your insights and enthusiasm. At TGS, we’re proud to see members like Hillier Hopkins (UK) embracing innovation, community, and collaboration. We look forward to reconnecting in Bangkok for another inspiring global conference.
