TGS at the United Nations Global Compact Forum

Non classé

What began as a bold call to action from Kofi Annan in 2000, has evolved into the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. It now unites over 20,000 companies and 3,000 non-business participants across 160+ countries. TGS attended the United Nations Global Compact Forum, like every year!

At TGS, we are proud to have joined this transformative movement in October 2017. As a signatory of the UN Global Compact, we are now preparing our 7th Communication on Progress (COP) — a reaffirmation of our enduring commitment to sustainable development, responsible business practices, and long-term impact.

A Global Network with a Sustainable Mindset

At TGS, we believe in the power of sustainable entrepreneurship to drive both social good and business growth. That’s why TGS was at the United Nations Global Compact Forum. Guided by our core values — Together, Agile, Conscious — we work with our members and clients to embed sustainability at the heart of business strategy.

From Paris to our global offices, our presence at this year’s UN Global Compact – Network France Forum “FUTUR(S) DURABLE(S)” highlights our commitment. The forum brought together more than 500 business leaders for a day of insightful discussions and hands-on workshops.

Inaction is not an option

This was the resounding message during the Paris gathering. Nearly 500 business leaders, experts, and civil society representatives convened to address today’s most urgent challenges: economic uncertainty, geopolitical tensions, environmental degradation, and the pace of technological change.

Key takeaways from the forum included:

  • Adaptability is essential – constant change is our new reality.
  • We must act boldly, especially in the face of climate uncertainty.
  • Public-private collaboration is crucial – governments must support and take risks alongside innovators.

These insights strongly echo the approach we champion within the TGS network. Our member firms are not just service providers — they are change agents, actively supporting clients in transitioning to more sustainable and resilient business models.

Driving ESG Transformation with the TGS ESG Activator

To further accelerate our impact, we developed the TGS ESG Activator — a practical, global methodology that helps businesses assess and enhance their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) readiness. The Activator is available to all TGS members, providing actionable tools, diagnostics, and strategic guidance to foster sustainable growth.

A Shared Responsibility, A Collective Future

As the UN Global Compact celebrates its 25th anniversary, TGS celebrates eight years of active participation and progress. But this is not the time to rest.

The world is facing unprecedented challenges, and the need for strong, responsible business leadership has never been greater.

At TGS, we believe in the power of collaboration : between firms, industries, sectors, and nations. We remain committed to the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the broader vision of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Together, we can and must build a more sustainable future.
